Overview

An SLA, demerit and penalty compliance system for outsourced transport: capture the breach, score it against the contract, apply the demerit, calculate the penalty and produce the evidence pack that survives a vendor dispute.

The problem

A transport SLA that lives in a PDF is unenforceable. Breaches get noted in WhatsApp, penalties get argued away in the monthly review, and by year end nobody can reconstruct what actually happened.

How we approached it

Every breach is a record with a source document, a timestamp and a clause reference. A shared OCR component reads registration plates, permits and licence details straight off a photograph so the capture happens at the roadside, not back at a desk. Scoring rules are data, not code, so a contract renegotiation is a configuration change.

Where it stands

Demerits and penalties that carry their own evidence, and a monthly vendor review that starts from a defensible position instead of a disagreement.
