Overview
A multi-tenant staff transport management platform covering everything between a shift roster and a paid vendor invoice: route optimisation, autonomous assignment, offline-capable driver execution, a live NOC board, SOS handling, vendor scorecards and an executive cost-intelligence layer.
The problem
Moving thousands of contact-centre staff a night across multiple sites means every link in the chain can fail quietly — a route planned against stale addresses, a driver who never accepted the trip, a vendor invoice nobody can reconcile against actual kilometres. The cost leaks are invisible until the annual budget review.
How we approached it
Model the whole lifecycle as one state machine rather than a set of disconnected screens. Thirty-three route and assignment states, effective-dated campaign assignments, a KPI registry that can be extended without a release, and pre-aggregated daily facts so an executive drill-down does not run a table scan. The driver app downloads the entire trip sheet on start and executes offline, queueing every action, timestamp, GPS fix and signature for verified upload on reconnect.
Where it stands
Now the operational system of record for the transport function, with route planning, vendor allocation, penalty and demerit handling, and quantified cost-leakage reporting in one place. A versioned release register and schema-migration ledger with checksums means every production change is traceable.
